Vanessa Trump announced on Friday that she no longer has breast cancer.

The 48-year-old shared the news in a short video posted to the Instagram account of her 19-year-old daughter, Kai. In the clip, Trump stated that her recent test results came back clear. She said this means she is finally cancer-free. The announcement marks the end of a medical journey that began earlier this year.

Trump first received a diagnosis in April. She made the news public in May via a social media post. At that time, she explained that she had undergone surgery. She also noted that she was working with her medical team to establish a treatment plan. The American Cancer Society notes that surgery cures most breast cancers. When disease remains, doctors often use chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or endocrine therapy to lower long-term risks.

Kai Trump wrote a caption for the Instagram post to provide context. She explained that the video serves as a preview for a longer release planned for Saturday on YouTube. That upcoming video will feature her mother and Dr. Nicole Saphier. They will discuss breast cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection. Kai noted that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. She described the period as a time to educate the public and support those affected by the disease.

The post quickly gained traction online. It collected more than 20,000 likes. Hundreds of comments followed, with many offering support and good wishes. Among the commenters was American singer and media personality Mary Millben. The engagement highlights the public interest in the health updates of high-profile families.

Vanessa Trump has five children with Donald Trump Jr. The couple separated in 2018. Trump Jr. is the eldest son of President Donald Trump. Vanessa Trump previously announced that she began dating professional golfer Tiger Woods last year. Her personal life has remained in the public eye since her marriage ended.

Statistics from the American Cancer Society indicate that the average risk for a woman in the US developing breast cancer is about 13%. This equates to a 1 in 8 chance. The organization reports that breast cancer accounts for 30% of all new female cancers each year. Medical treatments continue to advance, with newer targeted therapies and more precise radiotherapy options available for early-stage cases.
